

Bob Loder Robert A. Loder Jr. of Brielle, New Jersey, has been exhibiting his work throughout the state for the past several years. His acrylic paintings on canvas, masonite and under glass, pen and ink sketches and photography concentrate on the New Jersey Shore, Maine, Chesapeake Bay and Cape Cod. His paintings appear in private collections in the United States and Europe and in collections of The Harbor League Club of Camden and the American Foreign Shipping Company.
A self-taught painter, Loder has won awards at indoor and outdoor shows in New Jersey. He is a member of the American Artists Professional League, the Westfield Art Association, the Ocean County Artists Guild and the Manasquan River Group of Artists. He is also a member of the National Maritime Historical Society. Loder is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he studied journalism. He has been a newspaper reporter and editor and a public relations and marketing executive in the health care field. His wife, Shirley, directs the matting and framing of his work and manages their gallery, Gull Studios in Bay Head.
