Eleanor Morehouse Eleanor Morehouse is an award winning artist who resides in Somerset, New Jersey. She began her art career in 1973 studying with well respected artists.

Over the years she has developed a distinctive style which is quickly recognized. Vibrantly colored florals and landscapes exhibit varying degrees of light to create a dimensional quality. Annual visits to the rocky coast of Maine draw her yet in another direction as she captures the moods of the seas and blends them with her own artistic expression.

Eleanor most enjoys sharing her passion for painting by teaching small groups privately. She displays a contagious enthusiam to her students while helping them to develop and broaden their own skills.

Whatever the subject becomes, Eleanor's goal is to preserve her feelings and impressions on canvas, inviting the viewer to share in her personal view of nature's beauty.
