Kim Porter Kim combines the art of mosaic, decoupage, and collage to create unique pieces that include furniture, mirrors, wall art, photo frames and other home decor. Each piece is one-of-a-kind.

“I design and create functional art using a variety of materials including paper, paint, glass, tile, seashells, semi-precious stones, metal, ceramic, and fabric. I am inspired by the idea of taking something ordinary and transforming it into something beautiful, and the endless possibilities of mixing one medium with another. My pieces are rarely planned - they evolve.

My love of nature and commitment to recycling both play an important part in my work. Most of my pieces are created utilizing materials that are readily available or may have otherwise been discarded. I use only water-based, non-toxic paint, adhesives and varnishes. Protecting the environment and preserving our magnificent earth are an integral part of the creative process for me.”
