The Main Avenue Galleria welcomes artist's Daniel Falvo, Photographer and Manana Tsilikishvili.
The Main Avenue Galleria is proud to announce the opening of our brand new art school in Ocean Grove. The Main Avenue Galleria School of Art is located at 54 Olin Street and is a stone's throw away from our gallery.
We will be adding classes frequently so check back often. Our current offerings are:
Thursday Jan 19th and every Thursday for five weeks. Beginner Crochet Class with Norma Tolliver. Course fee is $95. Project is Granny Square scarf and a ribbed hat. Materials list provided with registration. Class is 5:30pm - 7pm.
Friday Jan. 20th and every Friday for seven weeks. Beginner Drawing Skills with Norma Tolliver.This is a beginner level class with step by step instructions designed to give you the skills necessary to draw with depth and confidence. Learn the Nine Fundamental Laws of drawing and apply these laws to various shapes to achieve 3-dimensional art. Class is 5:30pm - 7pm. Course fee is $145. Materials list provided with registration. Class size limited to 12 students.
Monday February 13th and every Monday for seven weeks. Beginner Watercolor Skills with Irina Steinberg. Introduction to the color wheel, color mixing, composition, basic drawing skills, and watercolor painting.
Course fee is $145. Materials list will be provided with registration. Class size is limited to 10 students. Class is 5:30pm - 7pm.

Students will go over basic watercolor technique and use of color. Students will paint landscapes, seascapes and still lives with guided instruction. Tuesday, February 7 and every Tuesday for five weeks. Class meets 6:00 - 7:30pm. Beginner Quiliting Class with instructor Mary Jane Pozarycki. This is a beginner level class. Students will learn basic pattern drafting, pattern templates, hand piecing (use of sewing machine is optional for piecing). Students will learn binding and how to make and sew a sleeve to hang your finished wall quilt. Students are encouraged to bring their own fabric for the project but can purchase an optional materials kit. A materials list will be provided with registration. Course fee is $95, excluding materials. Class size is limited to 10 students.
Saturday, March 3rd and every Saturday for seven weeks. Class meets 10a - 11:30am. Acrylic Painting with Christine Rotolo. This is a beginner level class. Students will learn to work with acrylic paint on canvas. Emphasis will be on composition, perspective, color mixing and shading. A materials list will be provided with registration. Course fee is $145, excluding materials. Class size is limited to 10 students.
