Main Ave Galleriaartist's works

March 29th 12pm – 5pm
Art Strings Program Reception

The Main Avenue Galleria will host a reception for the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra’s Art Strings Raffle at our gallery located at 57 Main Avenue in historic Ocean Grove, NJ. The magnificent violins will be on display (four decorated by our artists – Rosalyn Avigdor, Jen Olley, Michelle Harmazinski, and Angelica Zavala).

Now in its seventh year, Art Strings combines the visual and aural arts to raise funds for the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra’s (NJSO) extensive education programs. The NJSO commissioned ten local visual artists to create individual works of art using violins as their canvas. A committee of devoted NJSO volunteers then generously donates their time to display the violins and sell raffle tickets for a chance to win one of these works of art.

Proceeds from the funds raised will be used to help support a variety of youth and educational outreach programs. To learn more about the Art Strings Raffle and to view all ten violins log on to the NJ Symphony website.
