Gina Cannone

Gina Cannone received a Fine Arts degree from Fashion Institute of Technology, NY, NY.  She then lived in Tuscany, Italy for a year studying with local artists.  Upon returning, she opened her own art & design company in New York.  She has been featured on NY NEWS #1 and was dubbed “Lady Leonardo” and has been featured in many magazines, as well as in a SoHo Gallery.  She is known as one of the top muralists in the tri-state area.  Her talent ranges from traditional oil painting to modern sophisticated designs.

Gina was also host and artist for the Artistic Creations television show on Time Warner Cable Channel 76 in Staten Island and Brooklyn, NY.  During each show she taught drawing and painting techniques and design.

In addition, Gina is certified in European plaster work, creating sophisticated surfaces and bas reliefs to be added within paintings, walls, furniture and any other surfaces, creating a 3D effect, textured pattern.

Gina Cannone recently was chosen as the muralist for the Famous Amy Ruth’s Restaurant in Harlem, NY and her work has been featured on local TV News.  She has been featured on Houzz, Window & Wall magazine, and TV networks.  She has helped raise funds for projects such as Project Smile and SI Zoo-Endangered Species with her art exhibits.

Presently, Gina has branched out, becoming an Author of Two spiritual books:  “It’s Time to Believe” in Angels, Spirit Guides and Yourself, and “Automatic Trance Writing” The Power to Receive Messages From Beyond and has been a featured guest at Barnes & Noble and a seminar presenter.  Gina is known as a renaissance woman: a pianist, writer, artist, and spiritualist.

Gina has taught drawing and painting privately for the novice to advanced artist.  From children’s murals to oil painted tapestries, Gina is a talented, unique and diverse artist.
