Oil and Acrylic Mixed Painter

I grew up in New York and have been painting for the last 20 years.  My interest in painting has always been a part of me, but I began to paint seriously when I started to compete in power lifting.  Since there were long rests between sessions I found that painting helped to pass the time more quickly and I was nicknamed the “painting power lifter”.

I am a self-taught painter who enjoys painting on location.  Most of my paintings are a mix of oil and acrylic paint, and are applied to the canvas using a palette knife.  My work has been shown successfully in many competitions and shows as well as public galleries.
