Join artist instructor Norma Tolliver for this six-week course where students will learn to use different drawing materials in unexpected combinations to create soft and/or dramatic effects. Students will learn to “see” their subject but breaking the larger picture down to small pieces. Learning to see the larger picture as individual piece parts is key to being able to render any subject from photographs and from real life.
Each session will be two hours long and have a different subject each time. That subject will be completed in the two hour session. Students will be encouraged to practice the technique learned outside of class hours as well. The drawing sketch book must be capable of accepting watercolor as well as dry mediums.
No prior experience required. Ages 12 and up.
Class Session & Students
This class is open to students age 12 to adult and is limited to 10 students.
Class Fee & Materials
Workshop Fee: $185, excluding materials. Walk-in fee: $40, excluding materials.
A materials list will be provided with registration.
