Affirming Me!
A Mixed Media Self Portrait One Day Workshop
Join artist/instructor Norma Tolliver for this very special one day workshop.
“Affirming Me” is a three hour self portrait workshop designed for anyone aged 12 and up. Students will send a jpeg image of their face to us and we will transfer it onto an 11″ x 14″ canvas. The face, neck and shoulders will be painted before class begins to match the students complexion.
Students will paint in the eyes, hair and background. Fabric will be used for the clothing. Magazine and newspapers cutout words will be provided to be added to the canvas. Glitter, ribbon, stamps and more will be made available to complete the canvas. Create your own self affirming portrait to remind you of just how creative and valuable you are.
Bring your own little trinkets or words with you to add to the canvas. Students will complete the portrait in one session. Preregistration is required and jpeg must be received one week before the start of class.
Class Session & Students
Class session is on Sunday, February 25th from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.
This class is open to students age 12 to adult and is limited to 12 students.
Class Fee & Materials
Workshop Fee: $65, includes materials.
