Be the Bamboo: A One Day Ink Painting Class

 In ancient China bamboo represented the Confucian value of moral character.  To the Chinese, a person who is mentally and spiritually strong is just like a stalk of bamboo:  flexible enough to bend with whatever life throws at them, but reliable and tough enough to stand strong and keep growing.  In this class join artist Nicoletta Siccone and “be the bamboo” as we learn the traditional techniques and brushstrokes of ink painting to create a series of bamboo paintings.  This is an enriching experience for artists and non-artists, unlike any other!

Open to students 15 years to adult.  Class size limited to 12 students.

Course Fee: $45, includes all materials
