Exploring Acrylics II
7 Week Workshop — Thursdays, Jan. 11th – Feb. 22nd — Walk-ins Welcome!
Join artist instructor Norma Tolliver in this intermediate to advanced acrylic painting class.
Students interested in this course should have completed a drawing fundamentals course, as well as beginner painting class in acrylic paints. This course focuses on capturing the nuance of light, atmosphere, form and texture using acrylic paints. The use of a palette knife is also explored. Guidance is provided for color choice, color mixing, brush choice and use.
Students participating in this course are comfortable working independently and are working towards improving their skills. Constructive criticism is provided before and after each painting session.
Class Session & Students
This workshop runs for 7 weeks: Jan. 11th – Feb. 22nd. Walk-ins are always welcome!
This class is open to students age 12 to adult and is limited to 8 students.
Class Fee & Materials
Workshop Fee: $185, excluding materials. Walk-in fee: $35, excluding materials.
