Exploring Acrylics Saturdays
7 Week Workshop — Saturdays, February 5th – March 26th, 2022 – Walk-ins Welcome!*

Join artist instructor Norma Tolliver for this seven week session where we will focus on seascapes by creating dynamic, realistic sea and skies. We will paint highly textured jetty rocks using palette knives.
Each 7 week session focuses on a different technique to increase the student’s use of acrylic paints in creating art. Some of the techniques are painting realistic seascapes in both brush and palette knife, reflections, fire and ice, night scenes in alizarin crimson, portraiture, light through trees, metal, fabric and fur, and so much more.
Guidance is provided for color choice, color mixing, brush choice and use. Students participating in this course are comfortable working independently and are working towards improving their skills. Constructive criticism is provided before and after each painting session.
Students are encouraged to bring their own image to paint. It cannot be an image of a painting.
Class Session & Students
This class is open to students age 15 to adult and is limited to 10 students.
Class Fee & Materials
Workshop Fee: $185, excluding materials. Walk-in fee: $40, excluding materials.
A materials list will be provided with registration.
*No class February 26th.
