Oil Painting
6 Week Workshop – Wednesdays, May 25 – June 29, 2022 – Walk-ins Welcome!
Join artist instructor Gina Cannone and learn the techniques of the masters. You will learn the basic techniques of oil painting which include: underpainting, blocking, blending, scumbling and glazing. You will receive worksheets and one-on-one instruction with weekly demonstrations of each technique.
We will be working with water mixable oils!
You can work with Water Mixable Oils in the same way you would use regular oils! With water mixable oil paints, you can enjoy all the beauty of traditional oil color, but without the use of potentially hazardous solvents. Ideal for those who wish to avoid damaging chemicals or for artists that share a school or studio space, water mixable oils are a great alternative that can be quickly cleaned up using only soap and warm water!
PLEASE BRING A PICTURE TO PAINT THAT IS A SIMPLE SUBJECT.
